The monthly meetings start with a social time from 7pm to 7:30pm. Meeting business and the program for the month follow at 7:30pm.
The meeting location is the Hessel Park Christian Reform Church at 700 West Kirby in Champaign, Illinois unless otherwise noted.

Esther's Place.
Esther's Place and Natasha Lehrer present an engaging, heartfelt journey of agriculture, entrepreneurism and art!
Enjoy lots of beautiful visuals of fiber from the sheep to the finished art; hear about their story of moving out to the farm from suburbia and see demonstrations first hand.
Woven bits of historical facts, barn stories and agricultural activism are all a part of the perspective brought to you by this fascination presentation.
Esther's Place is a fiber arts studio west of Chicago, IL who specializes in inspiring creativity!
Their classes, retreats, parties and more focus on all kinds of fiber arts, and enjoying connecting people back to the source of the sheep.
They have worked with the USDA, Illinois Green Pastures Fiber Co-Op, Illinois Art Educator's Association and others to get fibers recognized in the community.

Bring your grandmother's quilt, christening gown, hooked rugs, lace doily, etc. and share a bit of your heritage with the group.

Promoting The John Campbell Folk Art School. Presented by Myrna Madigan.
The John C. Campbell Folk School provides experiences in non-competitive learning and community life that are joyful and enlivening.
Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music,
dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.

Learn what to look for in handspun yarn and fleeces from John Salamone.
John has been spinning and weaving for over 25 years.
He started with a few angora rabbits, a spinning wheel and a rigid heddle loom.
All these years later, he still has a few angora rabbits, a few more spinning wheels and many more looms.
He is a judge for the Indiana State Fair and the FiberEvent in Greencastle, IN.
