The monthly meetings start with a social time from 7pm to 7:30pm. Meeting business and the program for the month follow at 7:30pm. The meeting location is the Hessel Park Christian Reform Church at 700 West Kirby in Champaign, Illinois unless otherwise noted. Exceptions are noted below or announced in the newsletter.

| November 11, 2008: | John Dayger of Prairie Gardens — Learn How To Safely Frame Your Fiber Arts. John is well known for framing many different fibers from around the world. |
| December 9, 2008: | Christmas dinner at jane Barry's home. Share your fiber stories from the Path, the Present, or the Future – When, Why, Where, How, or with What. Bring a dish to share. |
| January 13, 2009: | Krannert Tour, which will start promptly at 6:30pm. We are going behind the scenes to see how productions are put together and learn more about the building and its history. The parking garage is free after 5pm — so come early for a scrumcious dessert at the Internezzo Cafe. Our short business meeting will start at 6pm. |
| February 2009: | (Exact date to be announced) Linda Hardwood of Hooked On Ewe in Michigan —The Ewenique Art of Rug Hooking. Linda will also be giving a workshop, Learn How To Hook A Rug, which will be announced in the newsletter. |
| March 17, 2009: | Roberta McKinney, Maplecroft Studio, Chaffey's Lock, Ontario — The Evolution of a Fiber Addict. Roberta will also be conducting a round robin weaving workshop during her visit to Champaign-Urbana. |
